Turquoise in Orbit Necklace

Both traditional and contemporary elements compose this one inch circular pendant. The beautiful turquoise cabachon measures one half an inch and is set in silver amidst eight orbs that have been reticulated (using heat to creat a tiny network of wrinkles in the silver) and stained in a dark metallic patina. The shiny silver backing creates an exciting contrast with the darkened 18 inch sterling silver snake chain and reticulated silver orbs. This is a one-of-a-kind piece (although I like it so much it might be the inspiration for a whole new collection!)
