Mokume Gane Rattle Bracelet

'Mokume gane' is Japanese for 'wood-grain metal'. This is a very labor-intensive technique that was historically used to decorate Japanese samuri swords. This is a view of the underside of the bracelet. There are silver seeds inside 4 of the domes that rattle seductively when the wearer moves. The mokume is hand-fabricated from copper and sterling silver. Other materials include fine silver. Size is medium.
