Nature of a Sista
So yesterday did happen to be drab and gray. After a sizable breakfast with Michael, he went to get his oil changed and I plugged into creative mode, which yesterday consisted of blasting a new album by Queen Latifah. In a few hours, I managed to finish two necklaces and five pairs of earrings - my ‘Wireball’ production line. I will take these to St. Louis with me in a few days to replenish the stock at Laumeier Sculpture Park’s gift shop.
You mentioned you have a blow torch in your studio, that got me thinking: I could use one of those. You know how much fun it would be to torch a computer that was pissing me off? A lot!
Have you ever though about making some jewelery out of electronic waste? Stuff like resistors, transistors, diodes, etc? I can send you box of junk if you want to try.
