I’m Getting Published in Lark Book’s, 500 Metal Vessels!

All of those long hours of moving metal late at night in the studio and then trying to capture the final product in a photograph of publication quality, has finally paid off! Yesterday I received a letter in the mail from Lark Books. It was a particulary intriguing letter because it lacked the usual physical weight of returned slides that often accompanies the emotional weight of a rejection letter.

But not this time! This time I was informed that out of the 1900+ entries that were submitted, one of my copper vessels, The Five Elements, had been chosen for inclusion in the upcoming publication, 500 Metal Vessels, which is due to arrive in bookstores in the winter of 2007!

Thank you Lark Books and thank you, Fred Fenster, the distinguished juror for this publication.

  2. I saw your post in the blogging thread on etsy, and came to take a look. That is such terrific news about your copper vessel, but I’m only surprised that it took this long, given the quality of your work and photographs!

  4. Congratulations! Those Lark books are like works of art in themselves and your work truly deserves to be included.
