So yesterday did happen to be drab and gray. After a sizable breakfast with Michael, he went to get his oil changed and I plugged into creative mode, which yesterday consisted of blasting a new album by Queen Latifah. In a few hours, I managed to finish two necklaces and five pairs of earrings – my ‘Wireball’ production line. I will take these to St. Louis with me in a few days to replenish the stock at Laumeier Sculpture Park’s gift shop.

The first sight of the sun in several days beckons me outside to play. I should be carving wax rings for a class assignment in my sunny studio but the drive to move between layers of warmish breeze overpowers my creative needs. If tomorrow turns out to be drab and gray then in my studio you will find me at play.
